Weather synopsis: March 5

1:37pm with the exception of coastal New England, the weather across the Northeast has been spectacular this past week with temperatures running right around average and plenty of sunshine. A pesky low pressure system has been plaguing coastal regions of the Northeast with persistent wind, light rain and snow over the course of the week. This low pressure system should pull away and in its wake some of the best weather of the year so far will move in just in time for the weekend. By the weekend a dry, southerly flow will usher in plenty of sunshine and milder temperatures. This streak of nice weather should reside through the up coming week. High temperatures in Buffalo will hover near the 40°F mark and approaching 50°F towards the latter portion of next week. As of late, there is no significant chance of precipitation for at least another week so enjoy the fair weather as we've had a rough winter this season.
